Ms. Dunlavy was born and raised in New Zealand. She moved to the United States as a teenager and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law with Special Distinction in 1984. She was admitted to the Georgia Bar a year later. Ms. Dunlavy has worked in the public and private sector, large law firms and small. In March 2007, she opened her own firm when she founded Dunlavy Law Group. She is licensed in Georgia and is admitted to all Georgia state and federal courts. She was admitted to the United States Supreme Court in May 2008. Ms. Dunlavy specializes in land use and zoning law, governmental law, historic preservation law and real estate related litigation. Her clients range from individual homeowners seeking government approvals for small building projects to developers, builders, religious institutions, and commercial and industrial business owners. Linda represents clients before local governing bodies (such as city councils, boards of commissioners, zoning boards, historical preservation commissions and planning commissions) and in court. Her practice includes most jurisdictions inside the Atlanta metropolitan area and many outside of Atlanta. Linda lives in Atlanta with her husband, Dan, She has one daughter, Jamie, who works in Arizona for the National Parks Service. In her spare time Linda hikes, bikes, plays tennis, does indoor sport climbing, loves to cook and travel.
Ms. Woodward-Glasser has worked as a paralegal at Dunlavy Law Group since April 2013. She assists Ms. Dunlavy with legal research, fact gathering, and preparation of legal documents. Gloria grew up in Pageland, South Carolina, attended, and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Business Administration. She previously worked as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co. in New York City and as an accounting manager for Equitable Real Estate in Atlanta. She shares an empty nest in Decatur with her husband, Andy. They have two daughters who live in Manhattan and a son who lives in greater Decatur.
Lana works for Dunlavy Law Group as the office administrator. In this role she oversees billing matters, client and vendor payments, file maintenance and management, and general operations. Lana has over 25 years of operational experience and has worked with Dunlavy Law Group for in excess of 10 years. Lana also holds a residential real estate license . Lana, originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, has lived in Georgia for over 40 years. She is married and has three children. In her spare time, Lana enjoys lake days and traveling to new places.
